YOUTH CORNER - DESIGNERY PROFILES

Part of and central to Team Boston's mission is the goal to educate the public on the broader mission of sustainability. One of the ways we achieved this goal was by working with the YouthBuild Boston Designery. Team Boston collaborated with high schools students from the Designery on a summer design studio for youth geared towards the topic of sustainability and design. I live in Dorchester

I define sustainability as something that represents being green using environments and recycled material.

My community can be more sustainable by reducing individual transportation.

Things I do to be green include a lot of walking.

The issues of sustainability impact me a lot because I find myself more cautious to recycle and pick up paper bags and cups off the street.
