Curio.house is powered by 28 photovoltaic solar panels that convert sunlight directly into electricity. Before being used by household appliances, the electricity must first be converted to alternating current electricity by a device called an "inverter." In place of a single traditional inverter, curio.house will sport 28 micro-inverters, one for each photovoltaic panel. Not only This allows for additional solar panels to be easily added to the house and even makes the panels more efficient. Better yet, any extra electricity is sold back to the electric company.
